How to play

When the page is loaded, a random code of four colors is generated.
Duplicate colors are possible.

The goal is to guess the correct code in 10 turns or less.

When you submit a guess, you will receive feedback in the box above the guess column.
White pegs mean you guessed a correct color, but the position is wrong.
Black pegs mean you guessed a correct color and it is in the correct position.
Location of black or white pegs does not correlate with the order of your guess.

For example, if you guess four different colors and receive three white pegs, that could mean:
- Three colors are correct
- Two colors are correct and one is used twice
- One color is correct and is used three times
AND no colors are in the correct position.

The answer will be shown in the last column if guessed correctly or if you lose after ten turns.
